I have never read anything by this author before, but very much enjoyed this book. I did not hear of this story, so reading the book made me more interested in digging a little deeper into the story. I liked how right away we are drawn into what happened to Mary and then the book goes back and forth telling you all the events that lead up to how it actually happened. (At times I did get confused, and would have to read the chapter again to figure out where I was in the telling of the story) I like how each piece of the puzzle gets put together as you read through every chapter. The book was very well written. Even though you are automatically introduced to the killer, this intrigued me. I definitely would have liked the author to dig into the killer a bit more. All in all, this was a good and interesting read. Thank you for allowing me to have the chance to read it before it’s publication date!
