I was pulled into the story immediately with its multi-layers of background information and lots of pertinent details. The focus in We Thought We Knew You was on the victim and the family rather than on the circumstances of the crime. It was engaging and quite insightful. I love a fast paced true crime story and that is what M. William Phelps delivers in We Thought We Knew You.
