This book tells the true story of a woman who was poisoned by someone close to her, and that is absolutely horrifying to me. I'm not sure I want to read this because true crime books tend to make me very sad. The opening was absolutely chilling, with a chiropractor rushing his wife to the hospital with what appears to be a stomach bug, only to discover that she would never be leaving the hospital.
