I'm a person who enjoys not only watching a criminal investigation unfold on TV, but also in book form. Because of what I like, this book was already enjoyable to me in its first few pages. The author does a good job introducing how simple the life of the murder victim and her family seemed from an outside perspective. I thought it was interesting that not only did the reader shine a light on the victim, but the people who will be a part of the case as the story unfolds. Based on reading these first few pages, I am ready to understand the ins and outs of this investigation- from the suspect in understanding the motive to the victim who never saw this coming.
