This first look was hard to get through because of the shifts in POV. I don't know why the author made the decision to write it that way, but it wasn't something I enjoyed. Also, the beginning is pretty sloppy with mentioning details twice and not integrating the background information into the natural flow of the narrative. The cover doesn't say anything about the book, and I'm not a fan. I wouldn't read more of this book.
