I like the way this is written. It tells of the events in a story format, but also includes comments from people, like the husband, after-the-fact. I am not familiar with this case, so I don't know what happened, but I feel like I'm getting plenty of details from the story. These first few chapters really ease into the mystery. The summary says police look at Kaitlyn as a suspect, and this really makes you wonder if the son Adam knew Kaitlyn was capable, or even planning, to poison Mary.
