I'm an avid consumer of true crime, and this sounds incredibly compelling. Based on the description and this excerpt it seems like there are some easy conclusions to come to, but anyone who follows true crime will tell you that it's never quite as simple as it looks. I'm very nervous about what will happen to the family in this story and intrigued to find out how this crime and investigation progress. This is extremely well written and the author has done a great job introducing us to the victim, family, and people around them. I hope to get to read more!
