I have wanted to read this book for awhile, mostly because i got it from a friend but then secondly because i saw it on here!
I really liked the story but it felt very slow moving and therefore, long. I think it was like most first books in series that spend a lot of time getting to know the characters personalities and dynamics, which i believe the author did do very well, it just took me awhile to get really into it due to that but im sure if i read more of this series there is a good reason for it.
The one thing i did not care much for is all the romancey stuff? i guess i knew it was going to be kinda like that but due to how slow the story was moving in the first part so it made the book feel like it was really dragging on!
overall i would recommend this book and or series to others, preferably someone who likes fantasy romances more than i do lmao it is a good book just not my cup of tea really.
