We Hunt The Flame is one of those books that feels like it will one day be considered a classic. It felt like I was reading something familiar but fresh at the same time. The world, Arawiya, was fantastical and by far one of my favorite settings ever. I loved the concept of using ancient Arabia but adding magic and other creatures to the mix. The plot was intricate and engaging, albeit mildly predictable. It was really cool but I felt like I saw some stuff coming that were supposed to be plot twists. It did take me a bit to really feel connected to the characters, although I was sucked into the actual story everytime I opened the book because of Hafsah Faizal's incredible writing. I also loved the dynamic between the chracters and how the main relationship was portrayed. It was definitely a great read and I reccomend those who love fantasy to try it!
