I really enjoyed this story. However, my biggest problem, and the reason it lost a star, was the words in a random other language. I could figure out some of it but I'm still not positive on what some of the words were supposed to mean. I get that it adds depth and culture which I do enjoy, but a glossary with in the book would've been nice. I know there's one on the website, but I didn't realize that till after I had finished reading.
I dont want to spoil anything by saying names, but the other thing that cause this book to loose a star rating was some of the deaths. I dont know if it was supposed to be for dramatic effect or what, but some of them felt really unnecessary and made me actually mad. But I suppose that could've been the point all along.
Overall though, I did really enjoy this book. I haven't read the sequel yet but it is on my to - be read list.
