I have to say I was a bit hesitant to read this book since the story was something that I really don’t usually read. I had this book sitting on my shelf for a year before I actually read it, and boy do I regret taking so long to read it! I love the characters and the story so much that I was so sad when I competed it.
The story is told from the point of view of Zafira, a female hunter who must hide her identity in order to provide for her people. She ends up going on a mission to find an artifact to restore magic. Along the way she comes across Nasir, the prince of death, and his friend Altair and they ended up working together.
The story and the characters were just perfect! I love the friendship/relationship between Nasir, Zafira, and Altair. I could not put it down and pretty much read it in a day! I highly recommend this book and I’m super excited to read the sequel!
