The classic enemies to lovers trope so it's good that's my favorite kind of trope. The characters were well developed and the plot was strong. There were quite a few surprises and plot twists that sometimes I felt were too close together in the story so for me it was like as soon as I recovered from the first twist then bam there was another.
The worldbuilding was average I think. The imagery wasn't very strong but other aspects of worldbuilding like history, culture, and rules and laws were easy to follow and well thought out. Some of the language used was not in English and before I found a glossary while I got the main idea I thought it took away from the story a little bit because it was used so frequently.
One other general comment I wanted to make was there were some parts that just felt repeated over and over. I don't think they take away from the story but there were enough times that I noticed it happening. I would recommend this book if you're looking for an easy and fun read.
