I loved a lot about this book. Not only were the characters interesting, the world building was so immersive. The slow burn was so good!
I know some people didn't like that the book didn't contain a bunch of romance but I absolutely loved it! I thought it was just enough to be an addition to the book but it's not the main plot of the book.
When it came to Zafira being the Hunter I thought it was cool. The way she broke the stereotype of women in the world. Then, when she took off her cape, it was just perfect!
Altair was a crazy character. Like some parts of the book I liked him, some parts I didn't like him. He was an overall moody character, but I will give him credit on holding his own. Then, you find out the Altair is the Prince of Darkness's half brother. Like blew my mind completely.
The Prince himself was very irritating for me about halfway through the book. He just kept falling back into this depressive cycle and it was a little tiring. But when he started falling in love with Zafira it was cute. Then I wanted love to happen. When it did, I was estatic.
I can't wait to get my hands on We Free The Stars!!!!
