I am so glad this was the May 2019 Owlcrate selection!

The Hunter and the Prince of Death have been sent on similar quests for a magical book. One is on the path to finding the book, while the other has sworn to kill the one who will guide him to the book. With the loss and gain of lovable characters along the way, what else could possibly go wrong?

Such a beautifully written story. With the amount of Fantasy YA on my TBR list, I probably would have never thought to read this if I didn't get it from Owlcrate. The adventure, relationships, and romance were PERFECT! I experienced pain, laughter, hope, and empathy for these characters who seemed so real.

What I loved most was the setting. I felt like I was reading a book similar to Arabian Nights and Aladdin. There is also A LOT of girl power in this book. Not the cringe sort either. The book has a focus on the Arabic culture of men being more important than women - so no one expected the Hunter to be a woman.
