We Hope For Better Things is a great story! Even though it goes through multiple time periods it is not hard to follow. The plot of the story made me not wanting to put the book down. The characters were so human and I really felt like you knew them. This is a book I plan to recommend to my book club. I'm sure when other book clubs become aware of this book they will want to read it too. This is definitely a book that wants and needs to be shared.The author Erin Barrels has done a remarkable job on this debut novel. I'm looked so forward to her next book. There is a excerpt of in at the end of this one but it apparently she's not been named yet. I'm getting ready to read it but wanted to write this review first.
