This isn’t a genre I normally read but after the first impression, I was very interested. I absolutely love the cover. I would love to go there. This really pulls you into the past and has you feeling everything the characters did. I can only imagine how hard it would’ve been back then. The heartache a lot of people experienced just because of the color of their skin is so heartbreaking. Living through the war would’ve been horrible and scary. This book is going to be a big hit.
