I am hooked on this book like the ring in Avery's lip!! I don't even know where to start with what I love about it. The descriptive writing makes me feel like I've been plopped down in Georgia with Avery. I love all of the characters already, especially her parents. I'm very excited to see how Avery and Simone's friendship develops and what the school year is like for her and she starts uncovering mysteries in the town as well.
