We Are The Brennans will captivate your attention and steal your heart. I can't stop thinking about this special, crazy,. average, messed-up, wonderful family. As someone who has 5 siblings, this book deeply resonates with me as it clearly depicts the extreme feelings of anger and love and annoyance and never ending loyalty that a family has for one another.
I love that each chapter alternates perspectives as it really helps the reader relate to each individual character as we are shown their innermost thoughts. It's wonderful to see and analyze the difference in how each character views his/her actions vs how their actions are viewed by those surrounding them (ie. family, friends).
This book will leave you longing for more and more time with the Brennan family. I laughed. I cried. I felt seen by each and every character of this book.
