Mixed opinions - but overall worth the read
I’m giving it four stars but really in my mind I think it was more like 3.5 stars. The book really captured my attention and I read it in just a couple day even though it had a slow beginning (so stick with it if you don’t like the first couple chapters).
I think what is great about the book is The Brennan’s and how different everyone in their family is (and kale). You get to see into the minds of each character as the POV continuously switches with each chapter and that made it interesting. That being said you could predict a lot of things that happen pretty easily.
The only thing that I didn’t like was that some of the decisions made by characters didn’t really make sense even with the explanations. I don’t want to spoil anything but there were definitely scenes where I was exclaiming “but no person would ever do this” . The ending leaves you hanging in a really weird spot as well, not my favorite.
For anyone asking whether or not they should read this, I say you definitely should. I’m a little picky about some things but this look into Sunday’s life is well worth it.
