There is definitely something to be said about big Irish families- and that something is that I love them. This one is no exception. I enjoyed getting to know each member of the family throughout the book and I really wanted their business to succeed. I loved the idea that the sister came home and basically saved it all, or least tried too! I felt like the story had depth, there was a lot of history in the relationships that we get piece by piece. I would be frustrated at the business practices and the secrets kept, but that is what helps make this an interesting book to read. I really want to head out to an Irish pub now, it sounds like a fun place to spend some time. Just like in this book! I wonder what the secrets are that lie behind all families and pubs, Irish or not. Great writing, interesting characters, and a story that has a hint of mystery makes this one a winner.
