It has been a while since I have really loved a young adult story. This one caught my attention right from the start and made me feel all of the emotions.
This is a really heart breaking story. I really loved the first half of this one. The second half did slow down a little but it still kept my attention. I do think this is one that is only for certain people. It has many triggers and not for someone that does not like reading about social issues/triggers such as rape. It was a powerful read and exactly the type I really enjoy reading.
The cover on this one is also gorgeous and really grabbed my attention. It is the first I have read from this author and I will grab more in the future.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one and recommend it if you typically love these types of reads.
