This book is a powerful read that needs to be shared with the world. I liked how this book incorporated both the poems and the novels together. I felt as though they were integrated well and were very unique to the book. The selection of poetry gave better insights into who the main character was and shed light on what fueled her feelings.
This book makes a lot of powerful statements. For example, after the trial, it shed some light on some of the drawbacks to a world where social media is ingrained in our everyday life. The book very accurately portrayed that while social media can connect people for positive causes, it can also connect people to negative causes that can be dangerous.
Overall, this book made me feel angry. I felt for both the main character and many of the supporting characters who were all just trying to do their best to pick up the pieces after the infuriating sentencing.
