I really liked the poem in the beginning of the book, and I wish there were more poems. I like the vibe, layout/structure, and the potential for interpretation the poem presented. I was a little confused about the part right after the poem because I thought we had already started the story, but then I reached Chapter 1 and I was confused about where the story started. Also, I felt like some of the sections in the chapters were unnecessary or some scenes were too long, as it didn't add to the story or to Em's character development. It made reading through those a little boring.
