Full of emotion and hard moments

The opening poem immediately sucked me in. It struck such a cord with me, as I'm sure it did with many women reading it. The next chapters followed the main character as her family deals with her sister's rape and the trial that follows. I was in total shock to see how the judge described the accused and even more in shock that he was essentially let go. I cannot wait to read the rest of this book and see how it turns out!
