If I feel this passionate about a book after only reading a few chapters, then I can't imagine how I will feel after finishing it.
Its a topic that sadly I'm all too familiar with, but I think appreciate the fact that it isn't coming from the victims point of view, but from someone close to the victim. I don't think I have read a story that deals with the aftermath of sexual assault from the point of view of a victims loved one.

I have to say I truly, truly admire Marianne and my heart breaks for her. She is just as affected by her sister's experience as Nor (her sister) is. However, they deal with it drastically different. Nor wants to forget and move forward, Marianne doesn't want to forget or stop fighting.

Marianne is the voice of Nor, if that makes sense, she is fighting for Nor. She was fighting for her sister in the only way she knew how and that was with her words. She wrote for her school paper, but by the end of her sister's ordeal, she wants to quit the paper and just not write anymore.

I can't wait to find out if she uses her voice more, I can't wait to see her use her sword.
