A Girl With A Voice To Be Heard

I am really glad that this book is covering a topic all of us has seen the news so much. The unique aspect of this book is that it isn't from the girl who got raped but from her sister. I think the book does a good job so far of showing how a close family member would feel and act if this happened to a close person in their life. The book gives a lot of personality to the main character and her drive and will to bring justice for her sister. She not only wants to bring light to her sisters case but to others as well. I really like the writing and how fast the book jumped into the action. I think that the book is well written because instead of telling she describes things in a way that we realize what is taking place. Again I think that this would be an interesting read that shines light behind what is scene by the world and even though it is fiction I think it accurately portrays how the people would act.

I think the cover is breath taking and portrays the weakness and strong emotions that this book will give. I think the colors choses are perfect. The black background makes the white lettered title and light colored objects in the cover stand out. I like that it is simple and detailed. I hate covers that have to much going on. This one doesn't need all that because the details on the cover are the ones that matter. It actually one of my favorite covers.
