Oh this book brings the feels! Aaron and his father, Ira, run a struggling bookstore, with fewer and fewer customers everyday. It’s a ghost town. Ever since his brothers death, his family has drifted apart and the business has languished. Aaron struggles with frustration and resentment towards the shop and wants to do just about anything besides be in that store. The store is a dinosaur and it inevitably was moving toward extinction.

This book is a story of personal and familial growth, facing your grief head on, and learning to create a community with those who support you. I found Aaron to be quite endearing and really enjoyed his journey. I also enjoyed each chapter title was a book file and then that book was interwoven into the chapter in some way. Very creative and it provided me with some new book inspiration.
