First off, I absolutely love the setting and theme of this book. Books that revolve heavily around bookstores, book lovers, and anything bookish make me endlessly happy and this one was no exception. Like every other Gayle Forman book that I have read, We Are Inevitable gave me all the feels and I was hooked from the start. Although this is a fairly sad read, being brought through all of Aaron's struggles, the romance brought some lightness that balanced it out nicely. This book definitely features some pretty heavy topics (Substance abuse and mental health issues), so there are some trigger warnings to be aware of before jumping into this one, but if these topics are not an issue for you I would highly recommend it. If you are a fan of YA romance featuring real life topics or are a fan of the rest of Gayle Formans book, I'd give this one a shot! Overall a wonderful YA read.
