I could not put this book down. Don't start this book late at night, or you will stay up until 1am finishing it.

Aaron hates waiting for the inevitable. He waited the inevitability that his addict brother would die, he waited for the inevitability of his mother leaving, and now he is waiting for inevitability that his family's bookstore will fail. However, this time he isn't going to wait around. This time, he sells the bookstore without telling his father Ira and feels as if a weight is lifted off of his shoulders until Chad appears. Chad was in a sporting accident and is now confined to a wheelchair (before this he threw a beer can at Aaron from a moving vehicle, and Aaron hasn't forgiven him). Chad wants to visit the bookstore, but there is no ramp. He convinces Aaron to pick up some plywood to use for a ramp. When they try to install it, some local lumberjacks passing through say that it will never work long-term. So begins the efforts to fix up the store. Aaron isn't exactly happy about this because, 1. he is convinced that they are scamming him and will want money that he doesn't have and 2. he hasn't told anyone that he has sold the store. However, Ira is thrilled, so Aaron changes he mind and tries to get out of the deal, but the person he sold it to demands $13,000 dollars to buy out of the deal. Aaron is stuck. During this entire epic, Aaron meets Hannah who he believes is his inevitable girlfriend, but he later finds out that she is a recovering addict. Will Aaron be able to save the bookstore and his new relationships?
