Beautiful yet sad!
First of all, I absolutely LOVED all the bookish references and the fact that each chapter was titled after a book. Such realistic characterisation, which showed the inner conflict of the protagonist so well. Of course, the story will make you cry, laugh and reflect at many points.
Another thing I really liked is that the story has multiple layers to it. Not so straightforward. This may seem like a love-story but is much deeper than that. It talks about all kinds of relationships; familial, marital, friendship etc.
The moral of the story also revolves around addicts and how to deal with addictions and how often things are misunderstood and they are labelled/accused of being the bad one.
This book is also a treat for all music lovers. It perfectly describes how a music fanatic loses himself or herself in a song and all the feelings associated with it.
Would definitely recommend!
