When I was first offered the chance to read We Are Inevitable, I was thrilled. I absolutely loved If I Stay, and it still holds a spot in my soul to this day.
WaI did not disappoint. Yes, you have your boy meets girl story, but it's so much better than that. For one, ALL the book references. If you're a booknerd, you will swoon over this alone. I love me some book references. The more, the better.
And while this book is charming, true to Foreman's form, she hits on some pretty hard stuff like death and addiction. If those are sensitive subjects for you, this is your trigger warning.

I was almost worried that this book wouldn't live up to what I expect from Gayle. I am so glad I was not disappointed. Quite the opposite actually.
