The book starts out with an analogy of the dinosaurs facing an impending tragedy. Through this, we are introduced to the father-son team of Ira and Aaron, who have seemed to have lost it all. Trying to keep the fledgling Bluebird Books used book store open, Ira seems to be in debt, while Aaron tries to pick up the pieces daily. I am so intrigued to find out what they "lost" and what that means for Aaron, Ira, and what comes next.
