As a fan of Gayle Forman's other works, I was so excited to see this book appear on the raffle page! The cover looks lovely.
We Are Inevitable makes a hefty amount of pop culture references, and I wonder if that means the book will age more quickly. I did find it entertaining that TikTok was mentioned as something killing bookstores, though! I don't use it, but apparently there is a niche called "booktok", which has convinced some of my friends to get back into reading!
I did not 'click' immediately with the main character, Aaron, and didn't find him entirely likeable. Hopefully that changes with the rest of the book!
