From the description, this sounded at least part-way up my alley, as it's centered around a used bookstore. However, from the belabored, somewhat repetitive opening about dinosaurs to the transition to introducing our central father-and-son dyad, I just wasn't digging the writing style. In the end, it doesn't seem like this is for me.
