I’m not sure why every time I post a review for this book, it is taken down. So let’s try this again. I did not finish this book and do not recommend it. The author is problematic. They write white women causing pain on gay men and is racist. The story centering around stereotypes and placing blame on a tall, Black man is absolutely horrible. The tropes used in the story are racist and the characters are treated transphobically. I have no good things to say about this book and hope that everyone avoids it at all costs! The writing is muddled and the characters are not like able. Also the fact that this book is listed as young adult is laughable. This book is new adult/adult. The plot line is not clear and causes confusion to the reader. Overall I would give this book zero stars in this site allowed it. I can’t emphasize enough how you should avoid it and I hope this review actually survives.
