What an opening scene! Witches, Dark Magic, and more - We All Fall Down
Wow. This opening was absolutely captivating! I love a story that includes witches, and seeing Astrid's POV had me engrossed. Visiting a king in prison, who is going mad, had me wondering what in the world just went down before the story begins!
I'm instantly intrigued and immersed with the high stakes of the scene and rooting for Astrid immediately. The birthing scene of the twins was incredibly creepy & the right amount of grotesque. I love a gritty fantasy world and this one looks like it's going to be amazing.
I'd love to read more of this story after that opening!
