I'm very excited to read "We All Fall Down" because of how easily immersed you are in River City, "the world" of this book, for starters. I really enjoy that the main characters are black and one also being queer. (Jesse) I was imagining this being turned into a movie and was proud of the author for making these decisions. You never see a main black cast set back in the times of Kings, and Queens, and magic/witches and to see that in this book is *Chefs Kiss.* The story line is exciting and thankfully easy to follow unlike some books that make it hard to follow along.
