"We All Fall Down" essentially seems to be a YA dark fantasy in the same vein as Maggie Stiefvater and her dark worlds that she creates. In this case, Szabo adds even more themes of queer identity than Stiefvater did in "Raven Boys" creating an intriguing fantasy premise.
