Wow! This one hooked me from the very beginning. YA dark fantasy is honestly one of my favorite genres so I knew that this would be right up my alley. I have a feeling this will probably include a great representation of queer identity and true friendship (as well as maybe some found family <3). The premise sounds super cool and I'm very interested to see how the concept of who the Hero is and how normal life looks in a magical world.
