Who's watching who?

This was the rare book that was able to keep me guessing all the way to end. In this story, it seems as though nearly every character is watching someone else, or more than one person, for any number of reasons. I'd sure hate to live in this town, where it seems peeping and creeping is the name of the game!
There are a number of subplots going on simultaneously. One character, for example, is hitting on someone outside of his marriage vows, and is also suspected of being a child molester, while at the same time being a dad who causes conflicted feeling in his son. So you are unsure if he is a good person or a bad person. This makes it very hard to figure out which of all the characters might be a murderer, and why.
The author does a good job of making all the storyline and characters seem integral to the story and none seem to be there just to fill the pages. A very enjoyable read!
