I'm not opposed to Lisa Jewell stories, but this one specifically just had too many characters for me and it was very distracting to my enjoyment or attachment to the story. I normally can count on a Lisa Jewell book to be one of those "one day" reads that I pick up when I just want to get lost in a good drama for a day and have the time to do so. For whatever reason - again, I think it was the amount of characters that I didn't feel bonded to, I couldn't get myself to really sit down and get in to this book. I'd recommend other Lisa Jewell books over this one. Maybe try The Family Upstairs or some of her earlier work. Regardless, if you really can't go wrong with Jewell and if you go in knowing you'll have a lot to keep track of you will probably enjoy this one.
