wow! i sped through this book so quickly, and i definitely hope to read more books by the same author. the concepts of jewell's books always catch my attention, and they never fail to follow through!
i appreciated the multiple perspectives from the characters; it definitely added to the overall suspense of the book. there were also elements of mystery which propelled the storytelling, and each of the characters have their own complexities and back stories which slowly unfold against the backdrop of the main present-day plot. interestingly enough, this slow unraveling of each character's secrets and motivations causes for a super fast-paced reading experience. as you work your way further into the story and become immersed in the twisty plot, you find yourself flipping the pages faster and faster, until before you even notice, you've finished the entire book!
