The chapters in this book were, thankfully, short. And because they were short I would have been able to finish it quickly. However, it didn't really hold my attention long enough for me to read more than a handful of chapters at a time.
There were a lot of creepy characters in this book. Not spooky-creepy, but rather actual creeps. I don't think this is a book where the characters are likable.
Additionally, I've had to sit on this book for more than a week after finishing it while I try to develop a constructive review. The story was forgettable to me. I've had to go back to read the synopsis to really remember who was involved in the plots.
The one thing that I did like is that there were several story lines going on at once. Readers just had to sit back and guess how they would come together. This was what brought me back each time I sat the book down. I was curious, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for me to fully enjoy this thriller.
