I enjoy a good suspense thriller with a murder mystery thrown in, and this novel is exactly that. A multi-narrator book describing the events leading up to a small town murder.
Several of the characters attempt to throw you off of the “scent”. While others seem rather unreliable. Which I found to be fun!
I will say I had the Murder solved before the author intended me to. So the ending wasn’t a really big shocker for me. However, I have read many novels in this genre, and I suppose I am getting rather good at deducing the outcome. I’m not sure if that is a good thing, but I still enjoyed this book!
Overall, I give Watching You by Lisa Jewell four stars out of five stars. Despite predicting the ending it did not take away from my enjoyment of the book as a whole.
