Everyone watching everyone?! Yes please!
This was my first book by Lisa Jewell and it did not disappoint. I loved the title, Watching You, and thought it fit in very well with what was going on in the story. It seemed like everyone was watching everyone! I loved the various viewpoints in the story. I had been told beforehand that there were quite a few so I made sure I paid attention to who was who from the very beginning and had no issue following along.
I was a bit disappointed that I was able to figure out who the murderer was fairly early on, but the author did an amazing job of keeping me interested despite that. I also liked who the murderer ended up being because I thought it made a lot of sense and didn’t take a huge leap to believe. Most of the characters were cringey, but I think that comes with a thriller about neighbors watching neighbors. Honestly, I’m not sure if there was one character that I really liked.
Overall, I thought this was a well-written thriller and I was able to fly through it pretty quickly!
