I have been trying to find a Lisa Jewell book that I love for quite some time now. This is now the 3rd book that I have read by her. She, unfortunately, keeps disappointing me. All of her plots always sound amazing, but for some reason, I can never connect with her books. This was the first one that I had heard a lot of buzz about and I thought to myself "this could be it!" Turns out it still wasn't it and this was probably my least favorite of the three books that I have read by her. This story had all of the characters and a great setting to make for a great book. Lisa Jewell leads us on this long journey to figure out what is going on. This book dragged at such a slow pace to an ended that turned out to be lackluster at best. I will give Lisa Jewell one more shot to prove to me I should continue reading her books.
