This book was pretty interesting. The plot definitely pulled me in as the characters were very dynamic and there was definitely a building up of the characters throughout the duration of the story. The characters did end up connecting to each other pretty well by the end of the book. I felt as though the plot twist at the end was obvious about 2/3 of the way through the book, so the ending did not really surprise me. This may be because Jewell did a good job explaining the characters and what motivation they may ultimately have to react towards others in the book. Overall, I feel as though this is not Jewell's best work, but I still enjoyed reading the book and following the many provided plot twists.
