This is a dark and disturbing mystery written in a fascinating way going between present day police reports, flashbacks and multiple character's viewpoints. It was hard to know what was true and what was made up due to schizophrenia, Asperger's Syndrome and abuse factored into this complicated fictional murder. I found myself second-guessing myself throughout this one.

There are triggers aplenty in this one including mental illness, stalking, extramarital affairs.

This reads like a soap opera in terms of the drama. The theme of being watched or being the watcher is consistent throughout this page-turner.

There is a large cast of characters in this one, so it takes a little time to get invested in all of them (while keeping them straight) but if you're a fan of the darker books like Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train, then this book is for you.
