This book just reaffirmed why I don't want to know who my neighbors are. Okay, so it's a work of fiction, but seriously. We always think the horrible, seedy, and deviant are in other neighborhoods, when in reality they are in every neighborhood, doing god-knows-what behind their closed doors. There are a lot of characters here and a lot going on, but it certainly makes you think. How well do you know your neighbors? How well do THEY know YOU? If you enjoy psychological suspense with salacious characters and devious behavior blended together with some good old-fashioned drama, then you will get a good kick out of this book. It's the first Lisa Jewell book I've read but I enjoyed the twists and will definitely pick up another.
