Lisa Jewell is an auto-buy author for me, and Watching You did not disappoint. She writes such enthralling thrillers, drawing the reader in with interesting characters and unpredictable plots.
Watching You tells the tale of a close-knit neighborhood where your secrets are never safe.
I am endlessly amazed by Lisa Jewell's ability to weave the stories of seemingly unrelated characters together, and right from the start, I was anxious to see how she would relate each different plotline to the next.
Watching You has a somewhat large cast, so it does take a little time to get your mind around all the characters and who relates to whom. I don't mind this, especially from Lisa Jewell, but it is something to note going into this novel.
I really enjoyed this book and author and recommend her to anyone that enjoys a well written, character-driven psychological thriller.
